What does it cost?

  • The plans: free, always.
  • The parts: for the Tap Kit and Talk to Your Home you buy them elsewhere, because we don't sell them. A kit we sell shows our normal store prices on its page. There's no kit discount yet, so we don't claim one.
  • Shipping: $8 standard (free over $70) or $15 express, chosen at checkout.
  • Claude: depends on the path (see the table above).
  • Returns: 30-day returns, no restocking fees.

How does shipping work?

Most orders arrive in 2 to 4 weeks, and every order ships with tracking. Details are on the shipping page. Your plan is online the whole time, so you can read it and try the first prompt while you wait.

  1. Pick the path that sounds fun.
  2. Read its plan. It's free.
  3. Check the “You also need” line.
  4. Try the first prompt in Claude. For the Tap Kit you need no hardware yet.
  5. Get the parts when you're ready, or don't. The plan is yours either way.
  6. Stuck? Paste the “it's not working” prompt from the plan into Claude, or email support@kindly-ai.com.

NFC sticker
A thin sticker your phone can sense when you hold it close. It has no battery.
Shortcuts
The free iPhone app that runs a set of actions for you, like turning on Sleep focus.
Claude Code
The version of Claude that works on your computer and can run small commands for you.
Hook
A setting that lets Claude Code run a tiny command each time it starts, needs you, or finishes.
Home Assistant
Free software that runs your smart home from one box in your house.
Anthropic Console
Anthropic's site for a pay-as-you-go Claude account, where you also get API keys.
API key
A long password-like code that lets another app, like Home Assistant, use your Claude account. You pay for what it uses.
ESP32
A small, cheap computer board. It's what runs the Desk Screen.
